This thesis suggests that teaching children about the tools, processes and production of television shows and online games may mitigate violent behavior in those who watch and use them. “Online mentor guides,” such as actual teachers or software agents, may foster children’s inherent but still evolving intelligence and practical problem solving skills. This will enable them to respond more appropriately to sales propaganda and their resultant emotions, elevating aggression less viscerally when confronted with violent media.
